Series 6, sub-series 2: Personal Interest Scrapbooks. -- 1894 - 1952. -- 20 cm of textual material.

Scope and Content: This sub-series contains six scrapbooks which reflect personal interests of Stuart. The first four volumes follow each other consecutively in a roughly chronological structure. Included are mainly newspaper articles concerning groups with which Stuart was involved, such as the Sons of Temperance and the New Brunswick Teachers Association. Also included are articles and poems which Stuart wrote himself, most of which are political in nature, and various certificates and programs. The fourth volume is devoted to the First World War. The fifth volume contains exclusively material written by or dealing with Stuart. Included in this last volume are two obituaries written about Stuart.

Arrangement is roughly chronological.

Title: Title is based on contents of the sub-series.

Related Material: Stuart's writings also appear in other series throughout the fonds. It is possible that some of the articles in this sub-series, as well as related writings, may also be included in series 1 and/or series 2, sub-series 2.
