Scope and Content: This sub-series contains images that are generally unrelated to drama. Most of the groupings involve buildings, sites, scenery and items of interest from various places that Shaw traveled, although there are also slides of personalities and events. Of special interest are the slides taken of Fredericton and UNB.

Arrangement is roughly chronological.

Title: Title is based on content of the sub-series.

Other: All slides in sub-series 1 are labelled and numbered.

Other: Where possible, the name that Alvin Shaw gave a particular groupings was used, but in cases where no title was provided, the archivist assigned one based on content.
