Memorial Hall was selected for the cover because Bryan Priestman's office and physics laboratory were located here. Also known as "Mem" Hall, it was opened in 1925 in honour of the 35 UNB alumni who lost their lives in the First World War. The campus hillside on which it is situated is where Dr. Priestman used to ski between classes, his white lab coat trailing behind him. (Photo courtesy Stone's Studio, Fredericton, N.B.)
