Scope and Content: This series contains minutes from the Music Festival Committee, 1948-2007. Included as appendices are documents such as publicity reports, financial reports, treasurer and committee reports, agendas, rules and regulations, general and adjudicator correspondence, committee listings, and constitution changes.
Arrangement is chronological but there is some overlap when it appears that records from more than one executive member were deposited.

Scope and Content: This series largely contains correspondence from festival award winners, expressing pleasure at being involved in the festival and thanks fro bursaries and prizes. There is a minimal amount of business/personal correspondence concerning financial supporters and adjudicators.
Arrangement is roughly chronological as much of the correspondence is undated.

Scope and Content: This series consists of 36 scrapbooks documenting the history of the Fredericton Music Festival from 1948-2010. The scrapbooks contain a mixture of newspaper clippings, programs, syllabi, photographs and memorabilia, arranged in chronological order. Of particular note is a scrapbook compiled specifically to document the Fiftieth Anniversary Celebration, Feb. 15, 1997. Included with the scrapbooks is a folder of newspaper clippings related to the festival. This material may be duplicates of items in the scrapbooks.
Notes:
Terms Governing Use and Reproduction: The scrapbooks contain many inserts and the paper is generally fragile. Reproduction of material from the scrapbooks is very limited to prevent damage.
The Fredericton Music Festival Committee retains the right to temporarily borrow one or more scrapbooks for display purposes, with permission of the Music Festival Committee President or Archivist.

Scope and Content: This series consists of programs and syllabi for the Fredericton Music Festival 1948-2010. Included with the regular Festival Programs are Award Concert Programs for 1986 and 1991-1992, and a Senior Concert Program for 1986 and 1992. Many of the programs have been annotated by the previous owner. These annotations include marks awarded to participants, corrections within the program, notes as to the planning of the next years program, and personal touches. The 1986 program seems to have belonged to Jim Manchip, while others were copies belonging to the secretary. Similarly, many of the syllabi have been annotated by the previous owner. These annotations include notes as to the planning of the next year’s syllabus and personal touches.

Scope and Content: This series consists of 90 b&w slides, 13 videotapes, and 17 DVDs. The slides are reproductions of newspaper clippings, mostly photographs with captions. The slides are not identified externally but in most cases there is enough caption/text that the photograph could be identified by a researcher. One videotape is entitled “50 Years - Excerpts from the Fredericton Music Festival Celebration”. The other videotapes are of the Awards Concerts, 1999-2004. From 2005 onward, the awards concerts were recorded on DVD.
