Scope and Content: This sub-series contains completed questionnaires from the "Survey of Canadian English" within the New Brunswick region. The questionnaires include an explanatory cover letter from M.H. Scargill, instructions for the participants, and the questions themselves. Each completed questionnaire has a second section which contains follow-up information gathered from an interview conducted with the same participant that filled out the questionnaire. Included is biographical information, interview questions and phonetic transcriptions of the answers. There are also copies of the information for participating teachers, covering how to administer the survey and how to use the survey as a teaching aid, as well as blank questionnaires and answer sheets.
