Scope and content: This series consists of handwritten or typescript drafts of poems included in these publications: A place a people; The people of the dance; Spring that never freezes; First time death, Ten poems for Christmas II, This grievous injury and Cranmer. Also included is a scrapbook of research notes for Cranmer.

File arrangement is by date of publication imprint.

Arrangement of poem titles within each folder is not in the same order as the poems appeared in the finished volumes. It appears there may be some mix-up of drafts of poems among the folders for A place and people and the folders for The people of the dance.
