remarks by Allan Gilmour Senior, Allan Gilmour Junior and William Ritchie,
on a tour from Saint John through the United States to Quebec. Contains
thoughts and observations concerning events which occurred throughout the
voyage. At the back are notes on the distances between destinations (both
on land and water), as well as a list of addresses of people whom the authors
were led to believe respectable.
The collection contains an edited, transcribed version of this document which was annotated by Robert Rankin in September, 1946. The annotation includes a short history of the Gilmour and Rankin Firm, taken from a book entitled The History of Our Firm, written by John Rankin in 1921. *Only
