Mr. R.H. Hathaway,
258 Garden Avenue,
Toronto, Canada.
Dear Mr. Hathaway:

Many thanks for your letter. I
shall be pleased to receive the Canadian Magazine
with your article about
Carman. He generally spends
a night each week in town with me and he has told me
about his happy visit to you. It was very pleasing
the other day when Carman and
Peter McArthur lunched
with me. We first met together in 1896.

Yours very truly, Mitchell Kennerly
